I understand that my application
will not be reviewed if I do not submit 1) an original bank
letter and/or employer letter; 2) International Student Financial
Statement (ISFS); 3) copy of my I-94; and 4) copies of all
previous I-20s. If I am currently studying
in the U.S. on an I-20,
I also must submit the International Student Advisor's Report
(ISAR). NOTE: This information must be dated
no earlier than nine months prior to the semester for which
I am applying.
I have been admitted to Rutgers.
I have accepted Rutgers' offer
of admission by submitting the Admission Acknowledgment Form
and indicated that I will need an I-20 because I will hold
a student (F-1) visa.
I have paid the Department of Homeland Security $100 fee and obtained a payment receipt BEFORE applying for a visa.
I have paid the U.S. $125 acceptance fee to secure my place at Rutgers (I understand that admission will be withdrawn if not paid).
I have submitted original financial documents and I will submit updated financial documentation if requested by the admissions office so that an I-20 can be issued. This information is dated no earlier than nine months prior to the semester for which I am applying.
I have attached a note to the bank letter with my name and ID# if my name is not mentioned in the text of the letter. This will assure that the letter is filed with my documents.
I understand that duplicate I-20's will not be issued.
I understand that I-20 packets are sent AIRMAIL.
I understand that I should submit my supporting financial documents with my application.
I understand that faxed financial
documents or photocopies of financial documents will not be
accepted and will delay review of my application.
I understand that to ensure I receive
my I-20 in time, I must apply and submit all strong>necessary credentials
by the priority application date.
As a student registered in SEVIS, I understand that my I-20 will not be issued until my SEVIS release date. If I do not understand this, I will speak with my current International Student Advisor for explanation and details.
I understand that questions related to the issuance of I-20s should be directed to the I-20 admissions officer at my Rutgers campus (Camden, Newark or New Brunswick).
